Default High Damage Dervish Hero

Seeing as I started again with my paragon, I thought id work on using Melonni as a damage dealing hero seeing as you get her early on. Ive used Dervishs in the past, but only as Orders spammers. Heres what I came up with:

[card]Avatar Of Lyssa[/card][card]Heart Of Holy Flame[/card][card]Victorious Sweep[/card][card]Mystic Sweep[/card][card]Eremite's Attack[/card][card]Heart Of Fury[/card][card]Faithful Intervention[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]

Scythe Mastery: 12 + 1
Mysticism: 12 + 1 + 1

Any points left in whichever res you use.

It was originally designed for Farahnur (as thats the mission before which you get Melonni ) but ive been using it since. I use it in combination with a Splinter/Ancestors' Rage Necro and a WoH monk (soon to be changed for a Jagged MM) and in combination with the Derv hench from NF, the damage is impressive.

Id just need a bit of advice, HoHF is for Holy dmg, but thats not always effective, and it doesnt have much self healing (not a problem with the WoH and the Necro, but maybe in high end areas.) Id rather not invest in Earth or Wind, and stick to Mysticism as its far more powerful that way.

Any advice is welcome!

For most healing, your usually going to have to stick to either earth or wind. Which generally ends up being earth. However, with only a few points into earth you can get a decent heal out of mystic regeneration, or just use the stance conviction inorder to boost armor. Besides that there really isn't much self healing to be put in there.

Dervs/sins heroes are in a slightly bad situation when it comes to HM. Unlike casters, they can't always get away with no selfhealing, especially since they tend to run off on their own sometimes. It's hard to increase suvivability without sacrificing key damage skills....with too much healing, they become a wasted party member. Disenchants are usually common in high end areas so keep that in mind when using certain ones.

I'd take out Holy Flame for anywhere without undead. Lyssa's effectivness will go way down in HM where things cast faster. Heroes can't time those 1/4 skills like players can to do more damage with Lyssa. I haven't tested it but you could probably use Distracting Blow/Strike for that. I'd say use Melandru for hm and add Wearying strike, but mel lasts abit short.

For hm You could probably go 12/12 scythe/wind and use Attacker's insight for e-management and Wounding strike for the elite. Dwayna's Touch/Natural healing are both pretty good. Signet of pious restraint is a very good Eotn skill, but i never use melee heroes so i wouldnt know how well they'd use it.
